IDENTIFICATION
The pool is for the use of Meadows, Fairways, and Park and Lakes
residents and their invited guests only. Swimmers must have
a pool key with them to enter the pool area.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS & CONDUCT
SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
The gates are to remain closed and locked at all times.
The pool can be accessed with a pool key. Under no circumstances
should the gates be propped open.
Residents, their guests and family members will be required
to sign in at the front gate whenever entering the pool
area. All information must be completely filled out with
each visit. Residents who do not complete the information
may be approached by a Board or Pool Committee member or
Monitor and asked to complete the form or leave the pool
area. ( PLEASE NOTE: This procedure has been put in to place
to insure that the pool is being utilized by current members
and guests only and to provide an identifying tool in the
event of an emergency. So everyone's cooperation is appreciated.)
A member of the Board or Pool Committee or an appointed
Monitor is in authority at all times.
Proper swim attire is required. Children who are not toilet
trained are required to wear swim diapers.
Conduct by any person deemed to be dangerous, unreasonable
or offensive (including horseplay or the use of profanity)
is grounds for discipline and ejection from the pool by
Board Member, Pool Committee Member or Monitor. Any individual
disciplined repeatedly, or for serious infractions, will
lose all pool privileges for the rest of the season.
Running or speed walking within the pool area is prohibited.
Pets, bicycles, skateboards or motorized cycles are not
allowed in the pool or pavilion area. Knives, guns and
anything else considered to be a weapon are not allowed
in the pool or pavilion area.
Diving from the side of the pool is not permitted.
No glass containers of any type are allowed in the
pool area.
Food shall be consumed away from the pool area only. Residents
are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. Trash
cans are provided in the pool area.
Tobacco products, chewing gum and alcohol are not allowed
within the pool area.
Swim safely and treat others, as you would like to be treated.
In the event of a thunderstorm, swimmers are to clear the
pool during the storm and for at least thirty minutes after
lightning and/or thunder has ceased. Patrons are welcome
to stay in the pool area during this time, but are cautioned
to stay a safe distance from the water.
ADULT SUPERVISION
Children age 14 or younger must be accompanied at all times
by an adult resident or guardian (baby-sitter) age 18 years
of age or older. Children age 15 and over may be at the
pool without a parent.
Guest Policy
A homeowner may bring 3 guests per household resident to
the pool. A resident must accompany a guest in order for
the guest to swim. This rule does not include parties.
LOSS OF POOL PRIVILEGES
Any Blackhawk individual using the pool area after hours
(see pool hours), will lose all pool privileges for the
season.
Any Blackhawk individual committing acts of vandalism to
the pool, pavilion, basketball courts, restrooms, playground
equipment and/or surrounding area will lose all pool privileges
for the season. They will be held responsible for cleaning
and/or repairing the damaged items. Please be aware that
forcing open the gate causes damage and will be considered
vandalism.
POOL HOURS
In general the pool will open in the spring, usually during
the first two weeks of April. The summer season officially
starts with Memorial Day weekend and continues through the
start of school in Pflugerville ISD. Fall continues through
Columbus Day weekend in October. Please be considerate
of the neighbors living adjacent to the pool and try to
keep the noise down.

POOL KEYS
Pool keys will be issued to adults (age 18 and older),
after the Acknowledgment and Waiver Agreement is executed. One
pool key will be issued per household. To obtain a key,
please execute the Acknowledgment and Waiver Agreement and pick
up the keys in person at Goodwin Management, Inc.

PRIVATE PARTIES AT THE PAVILION
Homeowners
are responsible for cleaning up after private parties and
for any damages to the Pavilion, pool, or restrooms. The homeowner must provide at least one
adult (age 18 years or older) chaperone for every 10 guests
under the age of 18. THE POOL AND PAVILION ARE NOT RESERVABLE!!!
PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
Residents who host private swimming lessons must first
secure a permit from any Pool committee member. One certified
WSI instructor will be required for each ten (10) students
or fraction thereof (i.e. 16 students requires two instructors).
Certificates must be presented along with proof of liability
when applying for the permit. Classes are limited to a two-hour
duration between the hours of 8am and 10am. The host resident
must be present for the entire duration of the class.
RESTROOMS
Please help keep your restroom clean by cleaning up after
yourself. The pool key can be used to access the restroom
from the outside gate.
EMERGENCY PHONE
Report problems with the emergency phone to Southwestern Bell. The
telephone is for emergencies only and will automatically dial 911 when the
receiver is picked up.
BASKETBALL COURTS
The basketball court hours are from 8am to dusk daily.
Please make sure that the gate to the basketball court is
closed and locks upon completion of use.
